Sterling Silver Tantalus veneered in exotic coromandel with exquisitely engraved silver corner supports and rare sterling silver handle.

The beautifully engraved solid sterling silver handle is hall marked Piers Hart of London 1987. Solid Silver Bar handles on a Tantalus is extremely rare to see as most are made of brass and silver plated.

This rare Tantalus contains two fabulous round cut glass decanters which equally match the high quality coromandel frame. Once the tantalus is unlocked below the barrel is a lever that when pressed down allows the handle to fold down granting access to the two decanters.

This sterling silver & coromandel tantalus comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
