Description

Fabulous Rosewood Sewing Boxexquisitely inlaid with Mother of pearl and depicts Victoria & Albert riding on horse back.
The interior is fully fitted with mother of pearl sewing tools and cotton spools housed in a removable tray with a large storage area underneath.

This box was probably made to commemorate the marriage of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert in 1840.

This sewing box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
