Antique red leather sewing box of the regency period with pressed brass accents, handles, lions feet and replaced escutcheon.

Lifting the lid of this small charming regency sewing box reveals a fitted interior comprising two bone thread reels, three winders, a pincushion, needlebook, thimble and removable leather tool-pad which is fitted with a needle, scissors and pricker. There is a small storage space underneath the tool pad.
The underside of the main lid has a leather letter compartment.
