Description

Miniature Betjemann’s Coromandel Tantalus with engraved silver plated carrying handle and silver plated decorative corners supports on all four sides. The Tantalus contains two glass bottles with faceted stoppers and star cut bases. The base of the tantalus has a silver retailers plaque which reads as follows:
“Osler London”

The Decanters can be removed by pressing the the lock mechanism down which will allow the carrying handle to be pivoted backwards. The carrying handle is stamped with the following: “Betjemanns Patent 13219 London” ” The Tantalus”

This tantalus comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
