The Football stands upon an ebony bakelite plinth and features a highly realistic casting with visible stitching and seam across the front. The football hinges at the rear which allows access to the storage compartment using the front thumb tab. The football can be used to store varying keepsakes. The Silver is hallmarked with the rampant lion, date letter L for 1960, Anchor for Birmingham and makers mark T&HC for T & H Crathorne Ltd.
