Impressive antique jewellery box veneered in exotic Indian Coromandel with substantial quadrant brass edging, exaggerated by double grooved design on the front and top with ornate brass inlay on each corner. The Jewellery box also has two flush-fitting campaign handles.

Lifting the lid of this wonderful antique jewellery box reveals a luxurious interior, lined with black and gold silk velvet. There are two removable jewellery trays each with four compartments including two which are fitted for holding rings, earrings and cufflinks.

Underneath the two trays are eight more jewellery compartments. These are the perfect size for watch holders.

There is also a lockable drawer at the front of the box with a padded black velvet base.

This Coromandel jewellery box come with a fully working Bramah lock. The key must be pressed into the lock whilst being turned clockwise to unlock.

The box lock on this box has an automatic locking mechanism when the box is closed, for this reason, we have had two keys cut for the main lock and suggest the second key be placed in a safe place in case the key gets placed inside the box for safekeeping and forgetting you need this key to get back into the box.
