Antique serpentine tea caddy in dark figured tortoiseshell with mother of pearl panels on the front and top, with the top framed with abalone. Has ornate vacant silver initial plate to the top and shaped escutcheon to the front.

This delightful small Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy stands on four turned tagua nut feet. The interior has bone facings with two tortoiseshell lids sitting atop compartments which have traces of their original foil lining.
