A charming antique tea caddy in the form of a Pear that has clearly had a life and if it were to speak would have a tale or two I’m sure. The pear tea caddy has cracks to the top and sides which are all stable, it has a wonderful rich colour and untouched original patination which is so rare these days, with its original stalk intact again clearly showing signs of use. The Pear caddy has steel/iron furniture you would normally see on fruit tea caddies which include ornate escutcheon, hinge and lock. The interior contains traces of its original lining and comes with a working lock and replacement key.

I absolutely love this pear, just something very naive and primitive about it.
