Description

Antique Jewellery Boxveneered in stunning coromandel with brass edging and escutcheon.

The interior is lined with royal purple velvet and gold tooled black leather paper and features several padded compartments.

The front of the box folds down to reveal a brass handled drawer with further storage space. Below is a hidden drawer which can be accessed by pressing the brass button on the back edge of the open box. This drawer is perfect for storing those precious items.
On the top edge of the hidden drawer is a plaque which reads: W. Sclater & Sons. 190 191 Snargate St. DoverThis jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.

Operating the lock and key: You have to push key into the barrel of the lock and whilst keeping the key pushed in to the sprung barrel turn the key clockwise will unlock and anti clockwise lock the box.
